To ensure the diversity of the judging panel and conduct all-round product evaluation from multiple dimensions, the 2025 Innovation Award Judging Committee invited a panel of 12 expert representatives from the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, including the paper industry, chemical industry, printing industry, brand owners, equipment manufacturers, research institutions and universities, environmental consultants, as well as the management of the Professional Committee. The selection was conducted in a fair and objective manner.
Hengda’s PFAS-free greaseproof paper adopts an oil-repellent non-coating technology, with heat-resistant oil performance exceeding 85°C. While retaining the porous structure and air permeability of paper, it achieves high-efficiency oil resistance on both sides, effectively preserving the taste of takeaway food. The clients can continue to use their original processing techniques and equipment for printing and bag making, enabling smooth product switch and market promotion.
The product has no adverse impact on ink adhesion, delivering excellent printing effects and high ink fastness. Meanwhile, with low processing intensity of fiber raw materials and low wet expansion rate of the paper, it avoids registration errors during printing and boasts outstanding overall printability. In addition, featured by good plasticity and high tear resistance, the product greatly enhances end-user experience.
Since its establishment, Hengda has attached great importance to technological innovation and independent R&D. It has built a Provincial Enterprise R&D Center, a Provincial Research Institute for Special Paper-based New Materials, and an Academician & Expert Workstation. The company holds over 40 invention patents, has won 2 National Ministry of Light Industry Science and Technology Progress Awards, and undertakes 1 National Torch Program project.
