Hengda New Materials Showcases Full-Range Fluorine-Free Paper Products at 2026 Paper-Based Materials Exhibition

The 2026 Paper Based Materials Exhibition (PBME) grandly opened at Hangzhou International Expo Center on October 14. Zhejiang Hengda New Materials Co., Ltd. (Hengda New Materials, 301469.SZ) presented at Booth A16 (Specialty Paper & Green Packaging Area). Wenlong Jiang , General Manager of Hengda New Materials, attended the opening ceremony, exchanging insights with academicians, industry experts and value chain peers on innovation and low carbon development of paper based new materials.
At this exhibition, Hengda New Materials highlighted its full range fluorine free paper portfolio for food packaging, alongside core functional specialty papers including medical dialysis paper, self adhesive medical dialysis base paper, medical cold seal base paper and release base paper, covering two key sectors: eco friendly food packaging and sterile medical packaging.
The full range fluorine free oil resistant papers stood out as the show’s key highlight. Aligned with the global trend of PFAS restriction, these independently developed products achieve a fine balance between outstanding oil resistance and breathability. Optimized formulas enable lower basis weight and reduced dosage of oil resistant agents. While complying with strict food contact safety standards, the papers preserve the original taste of baked, fried and take away food. They also cut packaging consumption, bringing notable social and environmental benefits. This product series has been selected into the Specialty Paper Industry Chain Innovation Case Collection, receiving authoritative recognition from the industry.
Supported by its Provincial Level Research Institute for New Paper Based Materials and Academician Workstation, Hengda’s fluorine free products have passed stringent tests by SGS, TÜV and other third party laboratories to meet global food contact compliance requirements. Its medical grade paper products also hold complete certifications for high end sterile packaging applications.
